This Sound Memories Location is a handy checklist that can help you in your hunt for finding all of the collectibles. There are 40 notes you'll need to find in Sonic Frontiers, and they're scattered across each island.

What Are Sound Memories And How Do I Find Them

Sound Memories were introduced in The Sights, Sounds, and Speed Update. They're a new collectible that allows you to change the music whenever you're in the open world. You'll need to open up your map and look for the orange music notes around the island to find them all.

How To Change Music

You'll need to be in an open-world area to change the music. Once you're there, you'll see an icon on the left side of your screen with the title of the song and a button you can press.

If you hold down the button, you can pick from songs you've unlocked. Or you can tap it quickly and change it to the next song.

All Sound Memory Locations

Kronos Island

Here you'll find all of the Sound Memory Locations on Kronos Island.

Windmill Isle - Day

To find this sound memory, you must head southeast of 1-2. Afterward, you'll find Windmill Isle - Day on top of a ledge.

Planet Wisp

Just south of the Blue Chaos Emerald is another sound memory. Planet Wisp will be located right next to the bridge.

Sky Sanctuary (Remix)

If you visit the mini-island south of 1-7, you'll find Sky Sanctuary (Remix) in the center.

Kingdom Valley

Southwest of the Yellow Chaos Emerald and North of the Ninja, you'll find Kingdom Valley in the middle of the woods.

Fist Bump

To find Fist Bump, you must go to the top of the south of 1-5. When you reach the top, you'll find the Sound Memory.

Ocean Palace

To find Ocean Palace, you'll need to go north of M-013, and you'll find it near a little waterfall.

Wonder World

You'll find Wonder World north of 1-6. It can be found near the start of the waterfall, in the water.

Stardust Speedway (Remix)

Just north of M-025, you'll find Stardust Speedway (Remix) sitting on top of a little rock.

Ares Island

Here you'll find all of the Sound Memories Locations on Ares Island.

Aris Sands - Day

Aris Sands - Day can be found right in front of M-054, on top of the mini-mountain on the southmost side of the island, north of 2-2.

This is Our World - Phase2

To find This is Our World - Phase2, fast-travel to the fishing spot and jump into the tunnel. When you reach the ground, you'll find the sound memory.

Dusty Desert

Dusty Desert can be found southeast of 2-1, and the sound memory can be spotted underneath a ridge.

Desert Ruins - Zone1

To find Desert Ruins - Zone1 go east of the Shark that's near 2-4. After that, you'll find the sound memory in the middle of a walkway.

Dry Lagoon

If you go northeast of 2-3, you'll find Dry Lagoon on top of a little rock.

Savannah Citadel - Day

To find Savannah Citadel - Day, you'll need to go north of M-034, which can be found on the far right side of the island. Once you head north, you'll find the sound memory underneath Eggman's ship.

Theme of Sonic Colors

To find the Theme of Sonic Colors, go north of the Yellow Chaos Emerald and east of M-037 on the island's northern end. There'll, you'll find the sound memory near the edge.

Mushroom Hill

Mushroom Hill can be found on the far right of the island north of M-040. It can be found in the center of a few broken-up rocks.

Chaos Island

Here you'll find all of the sound memories located on Chaos Island.

Sky Road - Zone2

You'll find Sky Road - Zone2 directly east of 3-1 on the center of a platform near the edge.

Red Mountain

If you go south of M-057, you'll find Red Mountain on top of some rocks.

The World Adventure

The World Adventure is located northwest of M-068 on top of some pillars.

Aqua Road

Aqua Road can be found south of M-074 on the only part of the island that has grass on top of a mossy rock.

Asteroid Coaster (Remix)

You'll find Asteroid Coaster (Remix) west of 3-5 and north of the Blue Chaos Emerald. The sound memory can be found in the center of the mini-island.

Live & Learn

North of 3-4, you'll find Live & Learn on top of a rock above the lava surrounded by purple coins.

Speed Highway (Remix)

To find Speed Highway (Remix), you'll need to go south of 3-6 and jump into the giant hole, as shown in the picture below.

When you reach the ground run into the tunnel, you'll find the sound memory in the center of the room.

Lava Reef (Remix)

You'll find Lava Reef (Remix) north of M-072 and northeast of the Yellow Chaos Emerald on top of the old abandoned gun near the end of the barrel.

Rhea Island

Here you'll find all of the Sound Memory Locations on Rhea Island.

Open Your Heart

Near the first tower, you'll find Open Your Heart on top of a tower when you spawn in on the far left side.

Green Forest

You'll find Green Forest directly south of the second tower and east of where Open Your Heart was. The sound memory can be found in the center of a small open building.

Frog Forest

Frog Forest can be found north of where Green Forest was located. You'll find the sound memory in the center of all the abandoned buildings.

Misty Lake

Misty Lake can be found south of the tower on the northmost side of the island and east of where Frog Forest was. It can be found at an abandoned structure near a waterfall.

Emerald Coast - Act1

To find Emerald Coast - Act1 you'll need to go north of the tower in the middle of the island. Once you do that, you'll find the sound memory next to a few rocks.

Flying Battery (Remix)

You'll find Flying Battery (Remix) south of where Emerald Coast - Act1 was. It'll be in the center of a patch of grass with multiple rock paths leading to it.

His World (E3 ver.)

To find His World (E3 ver.) you'll need to go to the abandoned structures on the far right of the island. The memory sound can be found in the middle of the sunken town on top of a platform. To reach it, you'll need to jump on the nearby rocks.

Stardust Speedway (US ver.)

Stardust Speedway (US ver.) can be found west of the tower on the far right side, and east of His World (E3 ver.). You'll find the sound memory surrounded by a bunch of pillars.

Ouranos Island

Here you'll find all of the sound memories located on Ouranos Island.

Palmtree Panic

To find Palmtree Panic, you'll need to go west of M-082 and south of 4-2. You'll find the sound memory on top of a mini-mountain near a speed boost.

Seven Rings in Hand

If you go directly north of 4-5, you'll find Seven Rings in Hand surrounded by purple coins near the edge of a cliff.

Rooftop Run (Remix)

If you go south of the Green Chaos Emerald, and east of 4-4, you'll find Rooftop Run (Remix) next to some pillars.

City Escape

City Escape, aka the best Sonic song, can be found northeast of 4-4, the sound memory will be near the edge of the island next to some pillars and bounce pads.

Knight of the Wind

Knight of the Wind can be found on top of the pyramid holding the Silver Chaos Emerald. It'll be on one of the pillars next to a speed boost.

It Doesn't Matter

You'll find It Doesn't Matter east of the Yellow Chaos Emerald. The sound memory can be found at the center of the broken bridge.

Result - His World

Result - His World can be found north of 4-6. Once you get there, you'll find the sound memory in the middle of the woods on a dirt patch.

Sky Sanctuary

To find Sky Sanctuary, go south of 4-9, and you'll find it in an open structure next to some purple coins.
